Here's how tap a step when it's done

1. 1Use a washable marker to outline the shape of the foot. Draw a small curved line between the big toe and four little toes. Add a soft triangle towards the heel (snout) and a longer curved triangle near the toes (tail). Add small triangles down the length of the spine to the tail and underneath the snout.
2. 2Create a wash of 2341, 2314, 2300, and 2304.
3. 3Paint one coat of the 2341 wash all over the body, avoiding the eyes and teeth.
4. 4Using a thin brush, paint one coat of the 2304 wash on the spikes along the spine.
5. 5Paint a small circle in 2300 for the eye. Once it is dry, add a smaller circle of 2314.
6. 6Using a liner brush, outline the body, spikes, eye, and mouth with 2304.
7. 7Add small lines of 2314 on the bottom for the feet.

Tips

• Using a wash helps protect the more delicate lines in the footprint. Non-Diluted glaze will cover the smaller details.
