1 Use the Paper Masking Tutorial to cut out two spiral shapes and one butterfly. 2 Paint three coats of 2320 and 2349 in the places where your shapes from Step 1 will go. Once the paint is fully dry, wet your papers and stick them on top of the painted areas. 3 Once the shapes applied in Step 3 are dry, paint 3 coats of 2393 on the body of the snail, covering everything aside from the eyes. 4 Paint 3 coats of 2338 in the areas for the eyes and use a thin liner brush to add the smile. 5 Use a writer bottle with 2349 to add a line of dots on both sides of the butterfly, these lines should go around the neck. Then use a writer bottle with 2300 to add white dots in the eyes. 6 Apple 3 coats of Glow Glaze on the butterfly, the spirals, and underneath the eyes. 7 Hand your painted piece to us for firing! 8 Once your piece is out of the kiln, follow the Mosaic Tutorial to add your tiles. Let us know what color you'd like for the grout, and let us do the rest! Tips Two visits are required for this guide. In one visit, you will paint the planter.
