Here's how tap a step when it's done

1. 1Use a washable marker to draw a line on the neck about 1 finger's width from the top. Then, using the Shapes to Sketch template, draw Shape 1 at the top of the base on the front and back. Draw Shape 2 on the bottom of the base with the points facing front and back.
2. 2Mix a 1:1 ratio of 2308 and water, pour this mixture inside your piece and roll the glaze around. Cover the stem with your hand and gently coat the entire inside. Pour out the extra glaze.
3. 3Paint 3 coats of 2370 around the base, avoiding the lines created in Step 1.
4. 4Paint 3 coats of 2371 inside both shapes.
5. 5Using a liner brush, outline your shapes with 2372.
6. 6Paint 3 coats of 2393 around the neck, below the line we created in Step 1.
7. 7Paint 3 coats of 2394 above the line on the neck.
8. 8Paint a thin line of 2308 in between the coats painted in Step 6 & 7.
9. 9Use a writer's bottle with 2371 to add hair texture around the base, try to follow natural hair directions on the shape of your piece.
10. 10Use a writer's bottle with 2372 and add smaller lines in between the ones we created in Step 7, add hair texture inside of your shapes.
11. 11Use a writer's bottle with 2394 to add veins on the neck, these should look like upside down lightening strikes.
