Here's how tap a step when it's done

1. 1Transfer the snowman pattern onto your pottery using tissue paper, a pen, and a water-based marker. Start with the shape of the body, then add the smaller details.
2. 2Paint 3 coats of 2300 on the body.
3. 3Paint 3 coats of 2338 on the hat.
4. 4Using a liner brush, paint 3 coats of 2354 on the scarf and hat band.
5. 5Using a tiny brush, paint 3 coats of 2315 for the nose.
6. 6Using a medium brush, lightly stipple one coat each of 2395 & 2386 along the edges and body of the snowman. These will be your shadows.
7. 7Using the same technique as Step 6, add a small amount of 2338 to the scarf.
8. 8Paint 3 coats of 2410 on the background.
9. 9Using a writer's bottle, add black dots for the eyes, smile, and buttons.
10. 10Using a liner brush and one coat of 2314, add the arms back and outline the body, scarf, and hat.
11. 11Using 2300 in a writer bottle, add tiny dots in the eyes. Then create swirling lines and dots on the background, keep these organic and close to the snowman.
12. 12Paint 3 coats of 2386 around the rim.
