Here's how tap a step when it's done

1. 1Use a ruler and washable marker to separate your plate into three sections, use a rough 2:1:2 ratio. Note: Ex. If your plate is 12", draw lines at 4.75" (Line A) and 7.25" (Line B) across. This will give you two 4.75" sections and one 2.25" section. For the purpose of this guide, these are the measurements used below.
2. 2Apply masking tape along Line B, covering the left side. We will be applying the wash to the right side. Mix a wash of 2310 using a 2:1 (paint:water) ratio and apply two thick coats using your fan brush. Once this is dry, remove your tape.
3. 3Apply tape to the 1/4" section to the left of Step 2 and mix another 2:1 (paint:water) wash with 2304. Using the back of a brush, apply dots in a random pattern using both colors. Once it is dry, remove the tape and place it over the dots.
4. 4Apply tape to the left of your Line A. Follow the Rubber Stamp Technique , then use 2310 to apply the design. Allow it to fully dry.
5. 5Once Step 4 is bone dry, remove the tape. Use one of our provided sanders to gently scrape away the top layer of your stamp with small circular motions.
6. 6Mix a 1:1 wash with both colors. Use a Medium Round Brush to paint leaves and their stems with 2310. Once this is dry, use the same method with 2304. Note: Slightly paint over the stamp design created in Step 4, this will give you more dimension.
7. 7Use a liner brush and your 2:1 wash mixes to lightly outline your leaves.
