Here's how tap a step when it's done

1. 1Use the Transfer Technique Video and an ink pen to transfer your design onto the mug.
2. 2Write your pet's name above the design using a washable marker.
3. 3Create two wash variants for each color. One wash with a 1:1 ratio, one with a 2:1 ratio (water: paint).
4. 4Apply brushstrokes of the 1:1 ratio at random, using one color at a time; try to space them out. Once dry, continue this process with the other two colors.
5. 5Use a clean, damp sponge to lightly blend the colors. Let this fully dry.
6. 6Use the other three sponges and your 2:1 ratio washes to add another layer on top. Try to follow the pattern used in Step 4. (Paint yellow on yellow.)
7. 7Use a dry sponge to further blend and soften the colors, using gentle pressure.
8. 8Use a writer's bottle with 2314 to outline your sketch, and use light pressure to keep the lines thin.
9. 9(optional) - Add a silkscreen design to the other side of the cup.
