Pottery studio POS

The pottery studio POS that knows what happens after the sale.

A register rings up a mug. A pottery studio has to remember it for two weeks — who painted it, which kiln it's in, and when to tell them it's ready. StudioConnect was built inside a working paint-your-own-pottery studio to do both.

What pottery studio POS software should do — and StudioConnect does

  • A live studio board

Every table and every guest, from check-in to checkout. Pieces go on the ticket as they're chosen, with the studio fee, add-ons and finishing.

  • Checkout that matches the day

Split tickets, studio credit, gift certificates, memberships and money paid ahead for a party — counted once. Groups and schools can finish on an invoice.

  • Firing tickets and kiln loads

The firing ticket prints at checkout. Pieces sort by kiln lane — bisque, earthenware, stoneware — and load into the kiln that fires them.

  • Pickup texts that send themselves

Tell guests when it's all ready, or as each part comes ready. Clay that fires twice knows its own way home.

  • Receipt printers, all of them

Receipts, firing tickets, pickup tickets, drying slips and pull lists print to the right printer at the right location.

  • More than one location

Switch locations from the top of every page. Each location keeps its own drawer, kilns, settings and printers.

A day with it

  1. 10:00The drawer opens with a count, and today's parties are already on the board.
  2. 1:30A birthday party checks in. The deposit they paid ahead is on the ticket before anyone rings anything.
  3. 4:15Checkout prints the receipt and the firing ticket together.
  4. 6:00The drawer closes against what StudioConnect already counted — cash, card, credit, gift.

Questions studios ask

Is StudioConnect a replacement for a general POS like Square?

It replaces the register for a creative studio, and it knows the pottery: what was painted, where it is in the kiln, and when it goes home. Card payments run through a payment processor connected to your studio.

Does it work for paint-your-own-pottery studios with parties?

Yes. Parties and classes are booked online, deposits and money paid ahead land on the party-day ticket, and the party page has the guest list, add-ons and the run of the day.

Can I print firing tickets and receipts?

Yes. StudioConnect prints to thermal receipt printers — receipts, firing and pickup tickets, drying slips and pull lists — and you can read any ticket on screen without printing it.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every plan starts with a free trial and no card, or you can try the live demo studio right now without signing up.
