Paying for it
What studio owners ask before they sign up.
Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. The trial is 10 days, free, and nothing is charged until you choose a plan. Add a card during the trial and the first charge is still the day the trial ends.
Can I skip the trial and pay today?
Yes. Choose Buy now on any plan: you make your studio, then pay on Stripe's secure page, and your subscription starts that day. Founding pricing applies just the same. If you start a trial and decide partway through, Billing has a “start today” switch too.
Are there per-person fees?
No. Plans are priced by location, never by how many people work there or how many guests come through. Hire for the busy season without thinking about it.
What happens when the trial ends?
Choose a plan and carry on. If you don't, nothing is deleted — your information stays put, and it's all there when you come back.
What's different between the Studio Flow plans?
Only the locations they're for — Studio is for one location; Studio+ covers 3, with room for 4; Collective covers 5 and as many more as you grow into. Every plan runs all of Studio Flow — bookings, the live board, checkout, The Forge, inventory and receiving, gift certificates and your shop — and every location keeps its own board, stock and settings. Tell “Your setup” how many locations you run and it picks the plan with the lower total.
How long does a founding price last?
It's for studios that join before May 1, 2027. Your founding price runs for your first 12 paid months, then a month on us, then standard pricing — we email you before it changes. Founding pricing covers your plan and add-ons; extra locations are the same price either way. It stays with you while you stay subscribed.
Can I cancel?
Whenever you like, from Billing. It runs to the end of what you've paid for, and you can change your mind before then. Founding pricing stays with you only while you stay subscribed.
I run a consignment shop or a makers market, not a studio. Is this for me?
It will be. StudioShelf is opening soon, and it runs on its own: your makers, the split on every sale, statements and payouts, and Markets — with a register of its own for the makers' pieces. No per-maker, per-booth or per-sale fees.
How is my subscription paid?
Your StudioConnect subscription is paid by card through Stripe. StudioConnect never sees or stores your card number, and every invoice is in Billing whenever you need it. (Taking your guests' payments is separate — that's set up inside Studio Flow.)
